Meet Tanya

Tanya N. Miller (she, her, elle) is a dynamic, visionary, results-driven strategist with 12+ years' experience in mental health policy, planning, and promotion.

She brings a strong record of strategic and sustainable project management and support, and a reputation for meaningful leadership, engagement, and community-building.

Whether in-person or on-screen, Tanya specializes in bringing people together, charting new paths, and raising expectations.

In addition to founding TnM Consulting, Tanya has worked at the Parole Board of Canada, Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses (CMHA BC), Langara College, and the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

She holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Psychology (Hons.) from Carleton University, a Master of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University, and post-grad certificates in Project Management, Anti-Racism, and Mental Health Law.

Tanya is very passionate about philanthropy and community service, and is most proud of her five years as a Youth Mentor (Big Sister) in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Currently, Tanya Co-Chairs the Ottawa Parole Office Advisory Committee, where she advises Correctional Service Canada (CSC) on its policies, programs, and services, and how it runs its correctional facilities and Community-Based Residential Facilities (halfway houses) across Greater Ottawa, Cornwall, and Nunavut.

In her spare time, you can find Tanya volunteering, exploring new cities with her partner, reading the latest non-fiction, or at the nearest bowling alley.
